Steve Mallon grew up in a military family and lived all over the world. His fondest memories are of his years in Bermuda where his love for the beach began. He has a Biology degree from Univ of Texas in Austin. He loves sea life, and he is an avid sailor. He retired from the Austin Police Dept after 27 years of service. He moved to South Padre Island in 2006. He spends a great deal of time exploring the "North Island", and he knows the dunes almost by name. He has extensive knowledge of the undeveloped part of the island and is always happy to hop in a 4 wheel drive vehicle and take an existing or prospective landowner to see their land. Steve is honest and sincere and is someone you will enjoy and trust.
